KIDROLASE® is indicated in the treatment of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia
Asparagine is an amino acid that is essential for cell growth; it is produced by most cells, but not all blood cells. Mutated (cancer) cells in ALL rely on asparagine circulating in the blood for growth. L-Asparaginase is an enzyme that lowers circulating asparagine levels in the blood thereby depriving the mutated blood cells of asparagine and inhibiting their growth.
KIDROLASE® is registered in 17 countries. In countries where KIDROLASE is not yet registered, pon the request of a physician KIDROLASE may be made available to named patients that fulfill defined criteria.
